First Tournament - Player Course at Geneva National

The first event of 2012 is a combined tournament (Chicago North & Milwaukee) which will take place on the Player Course at Geneva National in Wisconsin.  90 players have registered thus far and more are expected to register this week.   For the first time on the Chicago or Milwaukee Tours there will be 9 flights competing: Championship, Palmer, Sr. Palmer, Hogan, Sr. Hogan, Sarazen, Sr. Sarazen, Jones and Snead.  The field in each flight is strong and made up of players who have won multiple tournaments and majors.

The Golf Channel AM Tour is the premier golf tour and offers the narrowest handicap ranges within flights which truly levels the playing field in gross score events.  If you are visiting the tour site and not a member of the tour, what are you waiting for?  If you are serious about improving your game, tournament golf is the way to go and the Golf Channel AM Tour provides the best format to gauge a player’s success.

It is time for golf – Now on the tee, playing out of Chicago, (you).  No matter the level of golfer, hearing your name announced on the first tee stirs up emotions the avid golfer rarely feels.  Can you control your emotions to make a swing, chip or putt?  Only way to find out is to compete against players of your skill level on the Golf Channel AM Tour.
