The 2012 season for the Chicago North Tour will kick off April 21. As players prepare their swings, it is equally important to get caught up on the Rules of Golf. A poor shot could result in a higher score for the hole, but a rules infraction could result in a disqualification. Not knowing the rules does not excuse the player from the associated penalty.
Relying on your playing partners to get the rule right is another mistake players make.
